The Jel Sert Co. is an 81-year-old, privately held company. Primarily a branded company that manufactures, sells and distributes shelf-stable freezer pops, RTDs, powdered drink mixes (packets and canisters) and dessert products, Jel Sert utilizes its unique manufacturing capabilities to provide third-party services to other CPGs.

Jel Set has been in the business of contract manufacturing for more than 10 years. Contract customers can benefit from Jel Sert being a totally integrated manufacturer, with services ranging from product formulation to package design and sourcing through distribution. The company’s facility is inspected annually by FDA, semi-annually by AIB and often by QAI (organic) and the Orthodox Union (kosher). The site is a registered drug manufacturer, and has executed manufacturing contracts for food products, medical foods, nutritional products, functional foods and OTC pharmaceuticals.

Every one of the company’s contracts is tailored for specific customer needs, volume requirements and seasonality. The Contract Operations Division of Jel Sert has dedicated staff including formulators, project managers and customer service personnel. Jel Sert is truly a turnkey contract manufacturer.
